Manipura ~ the masculine energy of the Solar Plexus Chakra

Manipura

The Sanskrit name for the Solar Plexus Chakra is Manipura, which translates to “lustrous gem”.

Manipura connects us to the Divine Masculine who is within us all, both men and women. He connects us to our yang energy; our inner warrior.

Located between the base of the sternum and the bellybutton, Manipura radiates vital life energy ~ or prana ~ throughout your entire body, it is where your will power and self-discipline resides.

It is from this chakra that you draw on your ability to achieve, connect with your self-esteem and raw emotions; and where that ‘gut feeling’ resides.

When in balance Manipura allows you to be in complete control over your emotions and thoughts; you have a healthy self-love and respect for yourself.

If it is unbalanced you may be judgmental or critical of yourself, have doubt and mistrust towards others, and worry bout what other people might think about you.

It is time to step into your inner-warrior and take up your place in the world!

To balance your Solar Plexus Chakra let go of self-doubt and fear. Reconnect with your inner-warrior by doing physical exercise, going for a walking the sun, deep relaxation or simply meditate on the colour yellow.

Allow warmth and joy to radiate throughout your entire being; all those who come in contact with you will be drawn to it.
