The Dance of Intuition ~ Chakradance™ 2-hour third eye chakra workshop
At the third eye chakra, we can lift up into ecstatic and altered states of consciousness through trance-dance.
The practice of trance-dance is hugely popular throughout the world, and has its heritage in many of the ancient cultures of South East Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas. Often dancers are inspired by imagining they are a North Amerian Indian, who has danced for days, in order to go deeply into trance. The movements tend to be simple, repetitive, even monotonous.
The dance of the third eye is the dance of the intuitive mind. In this workshop, each dancer drifts into his or her own visual universe of images, colours, and insights, achieving a deeply meditative state.

Awakening the chakras ~ Chakradance™ 9 week program
Chakradance™ classes are held as a 9 week cycle. Each cycle includes an introductory class, exploration of a different chakra each week, and concludes with an integration session.
Each class is themed around one of the major chakras and participants are led into their dance with guided imagery and pulsing music, which resonates to, and invokes the mood, of each chakra. Visual images may come out of the moving experience, as well as memories, impulses, insights, feelings, moods and body sensations.
When we enter the chakras through dance we enter not only our individual selves but also a collective experience passed through the ages, culture to culture. The dance experience is always followed by a period of stillness with continued inner attentiveness.
During this time we use ‘mandala art’ as a way of anchoring our experiences back into our conscious world. Chakradance is a therapeutic practice and aims to guide participants towards encountering the vastness of their full potential. It aims to guide them home.

The Dance of Spirituality~ Chakradance™ 2-hour crown chakra workshop
The dance of the crown chakra is a devotional dance, one in a long line of dances that embrace the religious and the spiritual. In ancient Shamanic practice, from the Celts to the indigenous peoples of the Americas and Asia, dance was used to commune with the spirits. In Ancient Egypt certain ritual dances were crucial to the successful outcome of religious rites.
In this workshop, we open the gateway to the soul through this meditative sacred dance. The dance of the crown chakra is the most paradoxical of all the dances: it is the dance of stillness. Often there will be little physical movement visible to any observer. The dance is internal – for now it is the soul’s turn to dance.
